Day 7
05 Nov 2010
Mandurah

In the morning we had a stroll along the Broadwalk, from the Tourist information to Ocean Marina. There are restaurant, cafe and shopping @ Dolphin bay. We took the 12.30pm river cruise to view the canal and estuary. The lunch cruise included fish & chips and an extension of 30 minutes on top of the 1 hour ride. The skipper also provides full commentary along the entire cruise. The multi-million houses and their boats are the main highlights along the canals.

We headed down to Pinjarra to visit the Peel zoo but it was about to close (@4pm). Next was Pinjarra heritage trail. A 1.2km route where you can visit houses  in colonial setting, a suspension bridge and play with ducks along the Murry river. Information on the heritage trail can be obtained from Pinjarra tourist information in Pinjarra town.
