Seremban to KL
Distance : 73.76km+
The 3rd day of RIDE | Eat | Sleep! Leg is getting stiff and starting to take its toll on me.
Today is the day of the slopes. A steep one welcomes us as we leave Seremban. You know it is serious business when KC turbo pass us! With no front D, I can only spin with my 53T. The torture ends when you see the water tank at the end of the slopes. This is known as the Rawang Hill.
The next high point of the ride was a 2km down hill where KC clocked 60+km/hr, that’s on his foldie.
The remaining route was filled with countless slopes. I gave up counting after the 6th! KC and Patrick was already out of our sight and we slowly make our way to the next rest point. This is where we can see the differences between the real titanium butt and the wanna be titanium butt.
As we near KL, traffic starts to built up! This is the next high point in the ride as Kl’s traffic can be fast & furious. Patrick leads us into small road, up a highway flyover and finally filtering into the main road leading into KL central. Our hearts lightens as we spotted KL Tower and finally the Petrons Twin towers. Finally, we ride passed the bus terminal and into Petaling street (KL Chinatown).
Staying right in the heart of Chinatown means food and shopping! The stalls along the street look a lot more organized but they seems to have lost the their charms. 90% of the stalls are selling pretty similar products. As for food wise..Ill have the photo speaks for itself.
Going to bed early, mentally and physically prepare for tomorrow 200km to Ipoh!
